Green grid
Character and context, supplementary planning guidance, published by the Mayor of London in June 2014, defines a green grid as: ‘A strategic green infrastructure network’.
Where green infrastructure (GI) is: ‘A network of multi-functional green space, both new and existing as well as both rural and urban, which supports the natural and ecological processes and is integral to the health and quality of life of sustainable communities.’
